How Loss of Neck Curve Increases Risk of Disk Degeneration in Fanwood
After comparing cervical MRI scans taken on 90 asymptomatic adults twenty years apart, researchers report that participants who experienced a loss of cervical lordosis during the intervening two decades were over 40% more likely to have developed disk degeneration at the C7-T1 level.
The study highlights the importance of maintaining a healthy cervical spine in Fanwood to reduce the risk of disk degeneration and subsequent arthritis later in life.
