Being Physically Active Keeps the Brain Sharp in Old Age in Fanwood
According to a study that tested the physical, thinking, and memory skills of 454 older adults over the course of two decades, there's a link between better motor skills and higher performance on thinking and memory assessments.
Dr. Keith Fargo, the director of scientific programs and outreach for the Alzheimer's Association writes, "The time to really begin thinking seriously about your brain health to have the best outcome is, if not your entire life, at least by early middle age… I tell people, it's never too late to start and it's never too early to begin."
