Compounds In Common Foods May Shrink Prostate Tumors For Residents of Fanwood
Compounds found in turmeric, apples, and grapes may hold the key to preventing and treating prostate cancer. Researchers have found that curcumin, ursolic acid, and resveratrol have the potential to "starve" prostate tumors and shrink them. Eric Chludzinski of Fanwood Back Relief Center in Fanwood provides the results.
However, the research team says that the concentrations of each of the three compounds necessary for this effect are higher than what most people normally consume through diet.
People at risk or actively have prostate cancer should increase these foods in their diets or consider supplementation.
