Neck Pain Among Adolescents in
Fanwood

A recent cross-sectional study of high schoolers investigated the prevalence of neck pain among teens. Chiropractor Eric Chludzinski of Fanwood Back Relief Center in Fanwood & Scotch Plains explains more.

The findings revealed nearly half (48.9%) of those surveyed had a history of past or current neck pain, which suggests that neck pain in adolescence occurs as frequently as it does during adulthood.

Additionally, the researchers found an association between the risk of neck pain and home posture habits such as lying supine in bed or sitting in a slumped posture while watching TV.
