Blueberries Improve Attention in Children in
Fanwood
Top Fanwood chiropractor explains how school children may be able to improve their attention skills by consuming flavonoid-rich blueberries.
In a new double-blind study, researchers found that children who drank a flavonoid-rich blueberry drink had 9% faster reaction times when performing executive tasks on a computer without any loss of accuracy.
Researcher Dr. Claire Williams writes, "This is the first time that we have seen the positive impact that flavonoids can have on the executive function of children… Our latest findings continue to show that there is a beneficial cognitive effect of consuming fruit and vegetables, tea, coffee and even dark chocolate which all contain flavonoids."
