Back Pain Increases Fall Risk in Seniors

For older adults, falling down can result in a serious injury that can dramatically reduce their mobility and independence. An analysis of data concerning 2,738 seniors revealed that among those with medium-high levels of back pain-related disability (which accounted for 7.4% of participants) were more than twice as likely to suffer a serious fall over the following year.
