Spinal Manipulation in Fanwood Benefits Those with Cerebral Palsy

Individuals with cerebral palsy (CP) may benefit from chiropractic care in Fanwood.

In this study, 78 CP patients received either spinal manipulative therapy (SMT) to their cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine or a sham treatment.

Those in the SMT group experienced a clinically significant reduction in muscle spasticity that was not observed in the sham treatment group. The findings suggest that spinal manipulation can provide a short-term reduction in muscle spasticity in patients with CP.
