Chiropractor Fanwood Does Rain Increase Joint Pain?
Does Rain Increase Joint Pain?
Do you feel worse on days that it rains? Is the rain to blame for your joint and back pain? Probably not.
In this study, investigators examined Medicare insurance claims and rainfall data and found no statistically significant relationship between rainfall and outpatient visits for either joint pain or back pain.
Further studies need to be performed with larger groups to determine the answer to this question.
To read the full study you can visit the BMJ, December 2017.
