Facial Pain Caused By The Neck?
Dysfunction in the neck is known to either cause or contribute to headaches and jaw pain. Now a recent case study finds that facial pain can have a cervical origin. In the study, a patient reported persistent facial pain that developed in conjunction with muscle stiffness in the upper neck. Once the patient received treatment to restore cervical function, their facial pain symptoms resolved.
