Chiropractic Care in Fanwood Equals Fewer Injections & Imaging

In a study involving 1,702 patients with a new episode of neck pain, researchers found that those who visited a doctor of chiropractic in Fanwood first had less need for opioid drugs, injections, or advanced imaging over the following year than patient whose initial visit was with their primary care physician or a specialist.

The authors of the study conclude, "These data provide an initial indication of how following recent practice guidelines may influence healthcare utilization in patients with a new episode of neck pain."
