Develop A Fire Plan in Case of Emergency
in Fanwood
To keep your home and family safe from fire, the National Safety Council recommends the following: install smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms; plan and practice an emergency escape route, and determine a meeting place outside; identify two ways out of every room; keep a fire extinguisher handy and know how to use it; remember to stop, drop, and roll if your clothes catch on fire; when evacuating, if door handles are hot, use an alternate escape route; and leave your home, call for help, and do not go back inside.
