Fish Oil Reduces Repeat Trips To Hospital
For Those With Heart Failure

In a recent clinical trial involving nearly 26,000 adults, investigators observed that participants given a daily one-gram dose of prescription-grade fish oil were 28% less likely to suffer a heart attack over the next five years than those given a placebo. Additionally, for participants who were hospitalized for heart failure in Fanwood, those in the fish oil group were 14% less likely to have repeat hospitalizations.
