Updated Evidence for Manual Therapy and Exercise for Neck Pain in Fanwood
Investigators recently reviewed the current research on different forms of manual therapy and exercise for patients suffering from non-specific neck pain.
For acute and sub-acute neck pain in Fanwood, the review showed moderate evidence in favor of high-velocity, low amplitude (HVLA) manipulation to the cervical spine in combination with exercise.
For chronic neck pain, investigators found moderate-to-strong evidence in favor of HVLA manipulation, mobilization, and/or soft-tissue-techniques to the cervical and thoracic spine combined with exercise for improving pain, function, satisfaction with care, and general-health.
