Chiropractor Fanwood Explains How Mild Scoliosis Responds to Chiropractic Care
Mild Scoliosis Responds to Chiropractic Care
In this case study, a twelve-year-old girl with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (a double-curve scoliosis that involved a 26° thoracic curve and a 23° lumbar curve) presented for chiropractic care.
Following a treatment plan that included chiropractic care three times a week for six months, the girl experienced improvements in mobility and soreness, along with a 23% and 30% reduction in curvature of the thoracic and lumbar spine, respectively.
This case highlights the benefits of chiropractic care for early scoliosis primarily because traditional medicine does not offer treatment for mild scoliosis.
