Chiropractor Fanwood Discusses Obesity Associated with Back Pain
Most Exercise Is Safe During Pregnancy
An analysis of data from twelve studies that included over 300 females during different stages of pregnancy found that women can safely perform high-intensity aerobic exercise for up to 35 minutes in temperatures up to 77 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity of 45%.
The investigators also concluded that expectant mothers can safely participate in aqua-aerobic exercise in water temperatures that range from 83.8 degrees to 92.1 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 45 minutes.
These findings should put pregnant women who exercise at ease regarding their concern over raising their body temperature to a point that may put their baby at risk.
