Preventing Nosebleeds in Fanwood

Though they may be indicative of a more serious problem, nosebleeds in Fanwood are often caused by dryness in the air and nose picking.

The American Academy of Pediatrics offers these prevention tips: keep fingernails short (or better yet, don't pick your nose); use a humidifier to counteract the drying effects of indoor heated air; quit smoking, as smoking dries and irritates your nose; and open your mouth when you sneeze.
