Prevent Sports Injuries in Fanwood
Overtraining or the overuse of joints and muscles is the most common cause of sports injuries in Fanwood, but there are ways to help reduce this risk.
The American Academy of Pediatrics offers the following advice: allow a minimum of one day per week to rest and allow the body to recover; wear appropriate protective gear for each sport; stretch before and after physical activity to increase flexibility; avoid playing while experiencing pain; and drink fluids before, during, and after exercise.
