Spinal Curvature in Fanwood May Play Role in Urinary Incontinence
Top Fanwood chiropractor Eric Chludzinski explains how urinary incontinence (UI) is a condition that affects millions of Americans, particularly females with increasing age.
In this study, researchers examined the musculoskeletal system of 32 women with UI and 41 women without UI and found that those with UI exhibited increased spinal curvature and pelvic tilt, circumstances that could possibly place added pressure on the bladder.
These musculoskeletal issues can be treated by doctors of chiropractic with a combination of manual therapies performed in the office and specific home-based exercises.
