Spinal Manipulation Benefits Cervicogenic Headache Patients

Past research has demonstrated that chiropractic care can benefit patients with headaches that originate in the neck.

In this study, patients with cervicogenic headaches (CGH) received spinal manipulative therapy (SMT) three times a week for two, four, or six weeks or not at all.

Compared with patients who received no treatment, those in the SMT groups each experienced a reduction in the frequency of their headaches, with the greatest benefits reported by the patients who received the most care.
