Fanwood Chiropractor Explains That You're Never Too Old to Start Exercising
If you are middle aged or older and out of shape, it's not too late to get more active to improve your health.
The American Heart Association recommends that weekly exercise include the following: one hour of high-intensity exercise, such as interval training, which increases the heart rate for minutes at a time in several spurts during the workout; an hour of moderate-intensity exercise such as tennis, biking, or walking; two or three moderate workouts per week that might make you break a sweat but allows you to talk with someone; and at least one strength training session.
American Heart Association, October 2018.
If you need some directions as far as what is the best exercise routine for you just give us a call anytime at Fanwood Back Relief Center in Fanwood at (908) 288-7129. We are happy to help.
