Chiropractor Fanwood Says Stay Active To Reduce Joint Pain Risk
Stay Active to Reduce Joint Pain Risk
Middle-aged women can reduce their risk for joint pain later in life by engaging in some routine form of physical activity.
In this study, researchers followed 6,661 female baby boomers for twelve years and found that those who engaged in even low levels of physical activity, even if they didn't meet federal physical activity guidelines, were 34-60% less likely to suffer from joint pain as they entered their later years.
To read the full study you can visit the Arthritis Care & Research, December 2017.
