If your triglycerides (a fat found in blood) are too high, you're may be at an elevated risk for heart disease and stroke.
To aid in the lowering of theses lipids, the American College of Cardiology recommends the following: get regular exercise; reduce calories, eat more fiber, limit alcohol, eat more omega-3 fatty acid foods, avoid refined sugar; maintain a healthy weight; and quit smoking.
