Chiropractor Fanwood Explains How Vitamin D Benefits the Cardiovascular System
Vitamin D Benefits the Cardiovascular System...
Previous research has demonstrated that individuals with lower vitamin D levels have an increased risk for a number of poor health outcomes, including cardiovascular disease.
In this study, researchers observed that not only does vitamin D3 significantly reduce oxidative stress in the vascular system, but it also triggers the release of nitric oxide, which plays an important role in blood flow and the formation of blood clots in blood vessels.
Based on the findings, the researchers suggest that vitamin D3 has the potential to reverse some of the damage caused by high blood pressure, diabetes, atherosclerosis, and other diseases involving the cardiovascular system.
Senior author Dr. Tadeusz Malinski adds, "This is a very inexpensive solution to repair the cardiovascular system. We don't have to develop a new drug. We already have it."
