Teens in Fanwood With
Back Pain Have Weaker Abs

Low back pain in Fanwood is a common musculoskeletal disorder that can affect everyone, even adolescents.

A recent study compared the abdominal muscle thickness of 80 teenagers with back pain and 160 of their peers without a history of back pain and found that participants with LBP had less developed abdominal muscles.

Future studies are now needed to determine if smaller abdominal muscles contribute to LBP or if the findings are the result of LBP.
