check routinely one of the most common
questions I get when I review x-rays for
a patient that either came in with neck
pain back pain headaches it doesn’t
matter one of the most common questions
I get is Doc how did my spine become
like this and what I tell them is it’s
an accumulation of injuries over time
poor postal habits over time the body
will adapt maybe you have pain for a day
or two and the pain goes away and you
feel like oh that must be fixed well
sometimes the body adapts and it’s not
fixed and the problem can get worse and
worse over time it’s no different than
if you have a cavity in your tooth you
know which meal did it no it’s not just
a singular meal typically it’s an
accumulation of maybe not eating the
proper Foods or not properly caring for
your teeth and it starts when you’re
young same is true with your spine if
you’re not having your spine checked and
the spine’s not in the right position
and you have these injuries that end up
over time with the spine doesn’t
function properly well later in life you
can have some problems with your spine
so it’s important especially with kids
who are continually falling falling off
their bike sleeping in awkward positions
wrestling with their siblings all these
things create over time poor positioning
or poor movement of the spine if not
checked regularly and addressed with the
proper chiropractic care it’s important
that your spine is functioning at its
optimal in order for it to be healthy
and that’s one of the things we do with
our patients with their kids is to make
sure that everything is growing as it
should and make sure everything’s in the
right position and everything is
healthy
